management and management consultancy.
Earlier as Resident, then Managing Consultant,
with a major firm of management consultants, he
undertook and directed assignments for substantial
public companies and multinationals.
His acumen and experience were developed further
through serving as a Director and General Manager
in the manufacturing sector, where he was responsible
for more than 1,000 staff. Additionally, his understanding
of senior management matters derives in part from
having served as a Director on the Board of a public
company.
Background
Alan Tipper was educated at St Clement Danes and
Queen Mary College, London University. He completed
his National Service in the RAF and qualified as
a pilot in jet aircraft. He maintains a Private
Pilot's Licence. He is Fellow, Institute of Business
Consultants; Chartered Management Consultant; Fellow,
Royal Aeronautical Society; Associate Fellow, Royal
Institute of Navigation; Liveryman, Guild of Air
Pilots and Air Navigators; Freeman, City of London;
Member of the Air League.
