Prior to joining the UK Advisory Board of Horton International, David was Group Director of Human Resources for the Dixons Group plc, (DSGi) a main Board position to which he was appointed in 2002. Prior to that, he held a number of other positions within Dixons, including Sales Director and Deputy Managing Director of Currys.

David brings a wealth of commercial HR experience from his earlier roles with Lloyds of London, Courtaulds plc and British Gas. David is Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of London South Bank University. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Flybe, where he is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.

He is an Associate Member of the Royal College of Science, and a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel & Development.
